Nicole Meldrum was the lucky winner from the prize draw relating to the consultation for Venue4u, which appeared on the Connexions website, Help4teens, earlier this year.
Roberta Blackman Woods MP for Durham City presented Nicole with the winning prize of an IPOD Shuffle on Friday 4th July 2008.
Venue4U is exploring the possibility of a multi function venue for teenagers in Durham City Centre. Work on looking for ways to secure a suitable place is still continuing. A recent consultation with over 20 young people took place in Clayport people took place in Clayport library in Durham. It is hoped that news on this will follow shortly.
